That is, however, the<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\treality for organizations when they start up their projects.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If your organization were going to invest a million dollars in a project, there is a 70% probability, or<br \/>\n\t\t\t\teven higher, of having to invest those million dollars and have to incur additional cost overruns \u2013 both<br \/>\n\t\t\t\ttangible and intangible \u2013 of close to 60% (some US$600,000 in my example) so as to be a \u201csuccessful\u201d<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tproject. But even worse, there is a 21% probability of losing the whole investment including the cost<br \/>\n\t\t\t\toverruns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #e6e6e6; padding: 25px;\">During this last year, we have in this blog been<br \/>\n\t\t\t\targuing for ways to revert those very low possibilities of having a successful project by applying a<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tmethodology centered on the <strong>human factor<\/strong>. Something we denominate as Project Management<br \/>\n\t\t\t\ton a human scale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Management on a human scale<\/strong> is based on applying methodological rigor to the<br \/>\n\t\t\t\thuman dimension in managing projects.
